The Bradford Beach Jam features the oldest sport in the world to its newest venue, the beach. Wisconsin’s first beach wrestling tournament hosted by the Wrestling Team at UWM and USA Wrestling will be offering divisions for youth and adults. Don’t miss the explosive action and excitement beach wrestling has to offer.
Saturday
Our Saturday events include beach wrestling tournaments for grade school wrestlers, through adults.
All participants MUST have a USA Card or Beach Card. You must bring it with you to the day of the event. You can purchase a one day card for $10 or a year membership for for $30.
Beach Wrestling Tournament
- Time: Registration: 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Wrestling: 12:00-5:00 Finals: 5:00-6:00
- Divisions: Grade School: 10-14, High School: 14-18, Adult: 18+
- Weights: Each division has only 2 weight classes (light and heavy) as per FILA rules. The referee decides which weight class you will be in.
- Prizes: Beach Champion Cup for overall winner of each division. Medals by USA Wrestling for 1st through 3rd.
- Format: Bracketed Tournament Style, Modified Beach Wresling Rules, 3x1:30 Periods - Best 2 out of 3 wins, Challenge Ring available to anyone in the tournament for exhibition matches.
